The first credits based, ad-hoc, co-working space with integrated childcare

Because flexible childcare
is a need to have,
not a nice to have.

Come on in and experience our shared work and play space. A place where kids can be kids and parents can be grown-ups. We work on a credits system where one credit gives you 30 minutes of childcare.

Based in West Dulwich, our space is Scandi-Industrial in design and packed with modern, educational and sensory toys, an outside garden and onsite kitchen for healthy meals

Peace and Riot, London’s Social Club with a difference

By Day

Whether you’re working, networking or socialising no one has to compromise, every family member comes first. Every time.

A place where good food and producing great work is just as important as good fun.

Where kids can be kids, and parents can be grown-ups.

Peace and Riot by Day

By Night

We’re not just here for you in the day, we’re here for you at night too.

We run events to support parents in their new roles with talks from parent coaches and career coaches, and you can hire us out for your birthday parties.

In the day we’re all about keeping your kids happy so you can just get on, but at night hire us out for your party and we’ll spoil you rotten!

How Peace + Riot Works

We are the only credits-based ad hoc flexible same day (if needed) childcare service in South East London or indeed in the UK. Our onsite childcare is available for parents to work, connect or relax, whilst your children are being looked after by our Peace Keepers – childcare professionals with DBS and first aid trained.

You can book anything from 1 up to 7 credits per day. Credits are available in bundles via monthly or annual memberships.

Pick from two membership packages.

Created by a mum, with all parents in mind.

We think more in terms of work life integration.

Parents get to get on with work, and kids with play.

There’s no separation anxiety, there’s no guilt, there’s just space and time.

When you sign up to a member package, you’ll receive:

  • Priority booking for events
  • Access to the members portal to network, collaborate or arrange a playdate
  • Discounts on food and drink and with our brand partners

What’s On

We host ticketed events for grown-ups from comedy, supper clubs and wine tasting, right through to our more educational Peace Talks.

Peace Talks are series of talks, workshops and networking events that run in the evenings. These talks cover a range of topics from parenting coaching to tips on setting up your own business.

So, Caroline, what made you decide to set up Peace + Riot?

“When you have kids where you used to go all the time, doesn’t want you anymore, and where they do want you, you’d rather not set foot in. This all matters more than we give it credence. Parenthood is not just a change in circumstances it is a change in self-perception – and not always for the better. Identity matters.”
