Our Peace Keepers are DBS checked and we have first aiders on site at all times.

Our Peace keepers can look after children from birth.

We practice a gentle approach to childcare, in our shared work and play space children are with their parents, never separate; our Peace Keepers oversee their play and gradual move to independence.

Our staffing is guided by the NSPCC staff to child ratios. We staff according to bookings – with a little extra ‘give’ to allow for walk-ins.

Core to how we operate is flexibility, so we will try to accommodate individual needs, our guidance is that you can book between 1 to 7 credits per day. Where 1 credit = 30mins of childcare so you can book a maximum 3.5 hours a day, or in working parent terms a half day working from home.

We offer an indoor and outdoor place space, desks to work or socialise and a kitchen offering healthy snacks and meals. All of our toys are educational and sensory specific, and have been sourced from educational toy suppliers and SEN specialist. And to allow us to switch it up whilst we look after the environment, we also source from toy library ‘Whirli’, we get to reduce plastic waste whilst adding to your experience.

We are realists and we also want you to feel like you have a fair understanding of how our space works, work will be achieved but do account for having to change nappies and feed your child. Your time may well be interspersed with interacting and seeing their latest creations but our Peace Keepers do have your back and will encourage group or individual play so you can seize the day! The more you use the space, the more children feel like it’s their space; their confidence soars and you’re left to just get on. Our regular members turn up, get their favourite coffee delivered on cue and their children disappear off to find their favourite toy or Peace Keeper.
